Quanta Services

Animation & Motion Graphics

This is a project that I, Prestin Apsley, worked on while employed by Northwest Lineman College. All content belongs to Northwest Lineman College and its parent company Quanta Services.

Our team was called by Quanta Services to jump into action quickly on this one. An underwater pipeline on the North Slope of Alaska had to be shut down due to a leak that was detected in a spill containment pipe. Until the repair could be completed, all production would be halted. Our video team went out to document the repair and tell the complicated story. The result became a mini-documentary. Since we couldn’t capture all aspects of the repair during our 2 trips to the North Slope, we used motion graphics and animation to help tell the story.

In the end, the project was a success and we helped tell the incredible story.
